BEST PRACTICES:  Size your images before uploading 


🗹 CHECK FILE SIZE
     File sizes should be approx. 500KB - 1MB

🗹 CHECK DIMENSIONS
     Dimensions should be under 1920px wide

🗹 CHECK RESOLUTION
     Resolution should be between 72-96dpi

How to find file specs:
  • MAC: Right-click on file > "Get Info"
  • PC: Right-click on file > "Properties"
Use Canva templates (links below) to resize large files, create new ones or view guidelines.

These are view only files. You will need to click on "File" > "Make a copy" to use these templates.

When downloading png or jpeg files from Canva, they will always be at the correct resolution for web use.

FILE TYPE RECOMMENDATIONS:


JPEG: Use for detailed photos. Better compression and lower file size
PNG: Use for graphics with text or simple graphic elements or when transparency is needed
